There is a taxi rank a few metres from the hotel as well as a bus stop where you can take a bus which will take you to the train station.

The easiest way to get to Salamanca is to fly to Madrid (Barajas Airport), and then take the bus (Avanza Bus) or the train (RENFE), both of which leave frequently. The journey from Madrid to Salamanca takes approximately two hours. If you are coming from Portugal or France you can come by bus or train. If you are coming from Madrid by car, use the A-50 motorway.
Bus: If you prefer the bus, there are scheduled services that, with their corresponding connections, enable you to get to Salamanca from any Spanish or European city. From Madrid-Barajas airport to get to the South Bus Station in Madrid (Compañía Auto-Res, C/ Méndez Álvaro) the best option is to take line 8 (pink) of the metro until Nuevos Ministerios and change to line 6 (grey) until Méndez Álvaro. Currently, there is a bus service that runs between Madrid-Barajas and Salamanca.
Taxi: Easily taken at the airport.
Tren: If you prefer the train, RENFE runs a daily service to Madrid, Lisbon, Porto, Paris and all connecting stations. To get to Chamartín train station from Madrid-Barajas airport take line 8 (pink) of the metro until Nuevos Ministerios, and then change to line 10 (dark blue) which will take you to Chamartín.
